Thanksgiving Break

For Thanksgiving break I got to see family members I have not seen in a very long time. Most of my family lives in New jersey which is a far distance from Virginia. Lucky for us, they decided to make the drive to Virginia and spend the holiday at our house. Spending time with family means a lot to me because it always fills a whole in my heart that nothing else can ever fill. We participated in my counties 5k called the Drumstick dash as we do every Thanksgiving morning. getting to walk the dash with my family meant a lot to me because for the last couple of years its just been my parents, my sister, and I. Going back home after completely the early morning walk and spending the entire day together playing board games and eating good food made me feel very thankful.
