I was born in Portsmouth, Virginia in 2000 where my dad was serving his fifteen year residency in the navy. We moved to Roanoke, Virginia in 2007 where my dad opened his own oral surgery practice. My mom works for his practice as the accountant. I grew up playing softball, basketball, soccer, and tennis. I continued with basketball and softball to high school, and quit basketball my sophomore year to focus all my attention on softball. I was a two year varsity captain and we were runner up state champs my senior year. I was in many clubs throughout those four years such as Key club, Two hearts, FBLA, FCCLA, and the green club. I work at Pacsun part time and in the summer I also work at The Dr. Pepper park events. I often volunteer at our local food shelter with my mom. I am currently in the Interior design program at High Point University. In my free time I enjoy drawing room layouts and furniture designs. My absolute favorite thing to do is travel the world. We have gone to many places over the years but my absolute favorite destination so far has been Africa. We went on a twelve day safari in Botswana. We traveled from the Okavango Delta to Savuti and then finally to Zambia. My overall favorite thing the entire trip was being away from technology and enjoying the culture and beauty of the African landscape. I strive to the best I can at everything I do no matter how little the task may be. I hope to make my family and friends proud throughout my four years at High Point University.
