First Semester at HPU

As finals week reaches an end I can now say I completed my first semester at High Point University. This semester has of course been filled with many ups and downs. Many times I have been very homesick, missing my family and my home. But with the help of my new friends and the staff I have been able to overcome those times. My teachers have been very helpful with me academic side with out even knowing. In high school the teachers did not care too much about the students grades, but here each professors cares about each individual students grade. I have also learned to handle things on my own without my parents to guide me through. I am very blessed to be receiving and education, and I cannot wait to continue the rest of my four years here.
