Social Media to Me

Since I got my first iPhone, I have been involved with many social media apps. Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram are my favorites. However, I have continued to see so many negative outcomes of these apps.

For snapchat, I believe communication between two people has been very affected. Instead of calling or even texting, people just send pictures with no words.

Instagram to me is a way for people to post photos that they wish to choose. I love the idea of that, but now people worry too much about how many likes or followers they get. It isn't just about what pictures they like, but what pictures they think will get more likes.

Twitter is my least favorite of the three. It is a place for people to freely post their opinions or basically whatever they want. But I have seen so many individuals get attacked with cruel words on twitter.

People have fallen victim to what everyone else thinks of them, and with social media people lose touch with what actually matters.
