Plessy v. Ferguson

ree

Today two groups in our class presented both sides of the Plessy v. Ferguson case. The case revolves around a state law in the state of Louisiana. Only white travelers are only allowed to buy first class tickets, African Americans are not. He Sued under the 14th amendment. Separate but equal goes against what the bible says. Statue of Louisiana is inconsistent with the citizens. By treating them separately it is almost like still treating them as slaves. It is a waste of money to say blacks may not purchase the train tickets in the white carts. Both teams made very strong points, highlighting the major parts of the case.
