Facebook is a good way for news because a lot of my older friends on Facebook will share a news post with their open attached allowing me to get recent news. Not only do I just read the news articles, I enjoy reading the comments so I get to see what other peoples views are on a certain topic.
Although a lot of people say twitter news isn't correct, I don't agree 100% with that. even if certain articles are incorrect, I still am easily seeing peoples posts and opinions on what is happening. If I am really intrigued at a certain topic I see on twitter I will go to a reliable news source to see the whole story behind it. My favorite account I follow for news on twitter is the Washington Post.

Snapchat
Although snapchat is primarily a communication source, they have developed into having many different sources of news. The section to which the news is at, allows me to subscribe to the ones I like. They put out the most recent stories with pictures every day allowing me and other snapchat users to be caught up without having to read a newspaper or search for it online. For example, most of what I subscribe to on snapchat is talking about Colin Kaepernick being the face of Nike now, but instead of it being just from one news source, I get to read many different ones very easily.
Buzzfeed
Buzzfeed is also another news source easy for me to use. I have the app on my phone and laptop. This is one of my favorite because it is easy access and the news is accurate most of the time. The big stories are also usually highlighted at the top making it easier for me to know what the big things happening are.

The Roanoke Times
The Roanoke Times is my local newspaper from where I am from. I used to always look at it to see what was going on in my town. There would be a section for the high school sports teams which would have pictures and scores every week. Also, there was always a list of events happening around Roanoke which I loved attending. Even though I'm not there anymore I still look at it every week so I can always have a little taste of what is going on back home without having to be there.
